Politics in America is a mess, and the two predominate parties are worried. The Democratic Party is busy attacking the Republican Party but the big worry is the ‘tea party’ movement. The same is true for the Republican Party. Republicans are doing the usual Democrat bashing but they are perplexed by the ‘tea party’ movement. What is really amazing is that the ‘tea party’ is not a political party, there is no head of the party, no national committee. However, people being called the ‘tea party’ candidate are turning primary elections on their ear. Established political candidates are being tossed out for people that have no previous political experience. Why is this?
Call them the the ‘tea party’, tea baggers, crazies, or American Citizens they all represent what the majority of the population of the United States of America is feeling. We are angry, angry at the ‘ivory towers of power’ in the capitals of this nation. Election cycle after cycle the same thing happens, promises of better things are issued by career politicians and citizens eager for a better way buy the best promise and elect another politician espousing that they are the best for the job. Now they are in office and that better way never comes to reality, why?
Now we pull off the rose colored glasses. Take any politician and remove that initial after their names. Once you remove the designation of Democrat, Republican, or Independent what do you have? A politician. One of the definitions on ‘Dictionary.Com’ for politician reads this way;
a seeker or holder of public office, who is more concerned about winning favor or retaining power than about maintaining principles.
Why are the same names always getting into office? Because that is their job. Great pay, great benefits, great retirement, A successful politician has nothing to worry about. Keep John Q. Public believing the lies and stay in office. Well John Q. Public is waking up and seeing the political elite for what they are, power hungry, lying and those that really do not care about the public until the election cycle comes around again. The people of the United States are not as dumb as the political and media elite think they are. They see the government is out of control. They see that there are only two solutions to the economic mess, spend till bankruptcy or stop spending period. They are recognizing that politicians don’t care about they people they are suppose to represent. Why this movement to straighten things out from the people of America? They know that they are the real power in America. They know politicians can not get into office unless we put them there. The politicians only hope is to discredit this movement to take back America so those who still believe them will continue to vote for them.
The Politician has one problem, the citizens that have actually read and learned about why there is a nation named the United States of America. A nation of the people, by the people and for the people. Citizens of the USA know from history that it is politicians that cause governments to fail not the people and they want to make sure this nation does not fail. How to keep a nation from failing? Remove the politicians that are causing the problem. Just as in colonial times it is the powers in the ruling seats that have created the ‘tea party movement’ and that movement is making them nervous.
So what is the message the people are saying to politicians? ‘It’s America Stupid!’ This is my country and you are not going to ruin it anymore. I have learned from history, I have read the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and I know that ‘We the People’ are the power in America not the politician and we are going to remove you if you don’t get your act together and do the job we gave you to do.
